Brace for
the dump.
Insure your bag on any Pons coin. Pick how far it would have to fall and for how long. If it falls through your line and stays there, the pool pays you in ETH.

Reading the pool…
The pool is the other side of every policy. It keeps the premium when a coin holds and pays out when it doesn't. It only writes a policy it can pay in full, so every open one is backed by ETH that sits right here. Nine tenths of every premium goes to the pool. The other tenth is the site fee, and 70% of that goes back to buyers through the weekly pot.

Leaving takes a day: ask, wait 24 hours, then withdraw at the share value of that moment. That way nobody can slip out while they watch a coin crash.
The fine print, in plain words
What you're buying. A promise from the pool: if the coin's price falls through your line during the term, you get the payout you chose. The line is set when you sign: 50%, 75% or 90% below the coin's price. The premium is paid up front and doesn't come back.
Why the line uses an older price. Before you can sign, the coin needs a price mark at least two minutes old. Your line is drawn from whichever is lower, that mark or the price when you sign, so pumping a coin just before buying gains nothing.
When it starts. Cover begins 30 minutes after you sign and runs for the full term after that, so nobody can buy cover a minute before a dump they already know about.
How a payout happens. When the price is through your line, anyone can arm your policy. Ten minutes later, if the price is still through the line, anyone can claim it, and the ETH always goes to you. If the price climbs back above the line first, anyone can clear the arm. A watcher bot arms and claims for every holder and clears wicks that bounce back, and the Arm and Claim buttons on your policy do the same if you'd rather press them yourself.
How much cover a coin can carry. Only ETH-paired Pons coins with at least 0.5 ETH of real liquidity can be covered, on the curve or after graduation. All open cover on one coin is capped at a small slice of that liquidity, at most 0.5 ETH, and at most a tenth of the pool. That makes crashing a coin to collect cost far more than it pays. The more cover a coin already has, the higher the premium, up to double.
The buyers' pot. One tenth of every premium is the site fee. 70% of that fee goes into a pot for the week. When the week ends, everyone who bought a policy that week splits the pot by how much premium they paid, which works out to about 7% of your premium back, whether or not your policy paid out. Claim it any time after the week ends; it doesn't expire. The other 30% of the fee runs the site.
What the owner can and can't do. The owner can adjust prices and caps within limits written into the contract, and can pause new policies. It can't touch the pool's ETH, stop a claim, or stop anyone from leaving the pool.
The honest risk. Memecoins crash often, so if crashes come in clusters the pool can lose. LPs are betting that premiums outrun payouts. Buyers are betting their coin crashes before the term ends. Nothing here touches any coin's Pons creator fee.
